Financial planning
Helping you to answer some of the bigger picture questions
when it comes to
personal finances
The answers to these questions can then help with investment management – the building of suitable portfolios that meet your objectives.
Raymond Jamesʼ central team of financial planners are available to assist with your financial planning needs.
Their advice can be sought on a one-off basis (sometimes known as “transactional” advice) or an ongoing basis (where an annual fee is charged).
The process starts with understanding your and your familyʼs financial situation, including your assets, liabilities, income and expenditure.
We would recommend you speak to a financial planner when faced with complex and difficult questions, such as:
- Do you have provisions for unplanned financial events?
- Does it make sense to consolidate your pensions?
- What is the best way to withdraw from your pension?
- Do you need to start looking at estate or Inheritance Tax planning?
- Do you need to consider some sort of insurance?
They will produce a report outlining their recommendations. We can seamlessly liaise with them to ensure that any recommendations you would like to proceed with are translated into your investment portfolio.
