We pride ourselves in developing long-lasting client relationships based on trust

Dasha Plotnikova and Max Scholey co-founded Raymond James, Fulham to provide wealth management services to individuals and families in the surrounding area and beyond.

Dasha Plotnikova

Branch Principal and Wealth Manager

Working with the end investor is extremely rewarding and gives you a great sense of accountability. There is no screen to hide behind and you can see the direct impact of your recommendations. You can see how an intangible service can have very tangible effects.

Two things underpin wealth management: The understanding of the market and the understanding of people. I have always been intrigued by both, whether that was studying Economics at LSE, working in advertising or managing investments.

Coming from a family of very practical people, I was drawn to wealth management because, for me, it is the most practical area of finance.

I started my financial career in 2016 within the Research team at Killik & Co. Initially, I helped manage discretionary fund-based portfolios, before moving to UK smaller companies. I was still itching to speak to clients directly and, after a few years, moved into a client-facing role.

In terms of qualifications, I am CFA charterholder. From working directly with clients, I have found that the advice they require often involves an element of financial planning and so I am currently studying towards the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning so that we can provide a very holistic service to clients.

Working with Raymond James allows us to focus on what we do best, that is building long-lasting relationships with clients and managing portfolios. Raymond James provides the infrastructure in the background to make this happen.

You will find me in art galleries, the great outdoors or at Craven Cottage, cheering on Fulham with Max.

Max Scholey

Branch Principal and Wealth Manager

Clients. I am an outgoing person and love to build strong and meaningful relationships with all of my clients. I love feeling that I am helping someone, be it guiding them through a difficult time, highlighting an option that they were unaware of, or simply allowing them to focus on the important things in life, be it family, friends or themselves.

When your mother is Swiss, you are sort of shepherded into finance. When both parents are involved in finance, you don’t really have a choice! I also was drawn to personal finance as it provided the opportunity to generate passive income or returns.

I always knew that I enjoyed helping people, and so wanted to combine this with my enthusiasm for investments and markets. To that extent, wealth management seemed the perfect choice.

I have worked with private client retail clients since 2013, joining Killik & Co in the City branch. Throughout the years I progressed to Senior Investment Manager, until 2023 when I co-founded Raymond James Fulham with my partner Dasha.

In terms of qualifications, I am a CFA charterholder as well as a Level 7 Chartered Wealth Manager with the CISI. In order to try and provide the most comprehensive service to our clients, I am also studying for the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, with the CII.

Raymond James is a well-established financial firm that can provide all the infrastructure needed to run our branch, allowing us to focus on what we enjoy – servicing clients and managing portfolios.

Dasha and I are fans of the great outdoors and enjoy hiking and skiing in the Alps. I also like putting myself through various physical and mental challenges, such as Europe’s Toughest Mudder, 12 hours of military style assault courses.

We are also engaged in the local community, so you may see us at any number of local fairs, events or even cheering on Fulham at Craven Cottage.
